Originally from Invercargill, Jim has a very deep, husky and distinctive voice that carries well.  Being from down south, he also has a hint of a southern twang - giving him a blokish tone. 

Jim has plenty of experience as a voice artist, MC, running quiz nights and other promotional events.  Part time he is an actor and full time works as an announcer for The Rock FM.
