I am a dual Australian and British national and I am permanently based in Melbourne, Australia.

My experience as an actor:

I trained as an actor in London at the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts (ALRA, now defunct), graduating in 1989.  My training included voice acting and microphone techniques.

While an actor in the UK, I performed almost exclusively in theatre in a variety of roles and venues.  These included roles in productions of:

• Shakespeare (King Lear, Richard III, The Merchant of Venice, Much Ado About Nothing, Romeo and Juliet) and Marlowe (Edward II). 
• I appeared in productions of modern classics and adaptations of novels (The Plough and the Stars, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, Tess of the D'Urbervilles, Kes.) 
• I have also performed in musicals and traditional pantomimes (Pacific Overtures, Piaf, Privates on Parade, Jack and the Beanstalk, Sleeping Beauty.) 

All these experiences have contributed to the versatility of my voice acting capabilities.

I have recently completed multi-narrator audiobook productions of Charlotte Brontë's Wuthering Heights (reading Heathcliff and Joseph) and Jane Eyre (reading Rochester).  

I have completed roles in a season of Shakespeare plays:

 - A Midsummer Night's Dream (reading Demetrius and Snug). 

 - Comedy of Errors (reading the Dromio twins).

 - As You Like It (reading Orlando). 

 - Merchant of Venice (reading Antonio).

 - Measure for Measure (reading Pompey).

All of these are either available, or will be published in the future through, Blackstone Audio.

In the future, I have a few more classics lined up - Mephistopheles in Marlowe's Dr Faustus; Prince Hal (Henry IV pts 1 & 2) and title roles in Henry V, Richard II and Richard III in Shakespeare's history plays.
